Action,Connection,Education
The A.C.E. Collective
Making friends, exchanging ideas, making change.
How did we get here?
Not feeling confident in our argument for something we care about. Looking to get involved in local government. Wanting to empower our friends that change is possible. Looking to challenge our point of view. Wanting to do more than yelling into the void of Twitter. Interested in political or social events to expose yourself to. Hesitant to walk into an event alone, especially if heavy and dense topics are up for discussion. Looking to find your voice. Wanting to just do more. Not sure where to start.
Some of these are our stories. Some of these are stories of friends. Cue, A.C.E. This is a place for you to start. We will dismantle barriers to civic engagement that young people face through our three pillars of Connection, Education, and Action. Making new friends to break bread and unpack social issues with. Coming up with interdisciplinary solutions from young, bright minds in the Greater Boston Area. Formulating ideas, honing our political voices, demanding structural change and a seat at the table. Here. Here is where we rectify the past, mold the present, and create the future we want to see.
No political experience required, just an understanding that things can be better, a desire for change, and the willingness to do the legwork to make it happen. Ready? Go ahead. Start where you are.
